These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by Indian Tent Events (“we”, “us”, “our”), including event hire, catering, and food collection services.

2. Our Services
We provide the following services:
Event Services
- Indian tents / marquees
- Event décor, furniture, lighting, flooring
- Full setup and dismantling
Catering Services
- On-site event catering
- Food preparation and service
- Buffet and plated service (where agreed)
Food Collection (Takeaway)
- Pre-ordered food available for home collection
- Collection times arranged in advance
All services are subject to availability and confirmation.
3. Quotations & Bookings
- All quotations are valid for 14 days unless stated otherwise.
- Event bookings are only confirmed once a deposit has been paid and written confirmation provided.
- Food orders are confirmed once full payment is received, unless agreed otherwise.
We reserve the right to refuse any booking or order at our discretion.
4. Payments
Event Bookings
- A non-refundable deposit (typically 25–50%) is required to secure the date.
- The remaining balance must be paid no later than 7 days before the event.
Food Orders & Home Collection
- Full payment is required at the time of ordering.
- Prices include preparation costs and agreed portions.
Failure to pay on time may result in cancellation without refund.
5. Cancellations & Refunds
Event Hire & Catering
If you cancel an event booking:
- More than 30 days before the event: deposit retained.
- 14–30 days before the event: 50% of the total cost payable.
- Less than 14 days before the event: 100% of the total cost payable.
Food Orders & Home Collection
- Food orders are non-refundable once confirmed due to preparation and ingredient costs.
- No refunds will be issued for failure to collect food at the agreed time.
6. Changes to Orders
- Any changes to event details or catering numbers must be requested at least 7 days before the event.
- Changes to food collection orders may not be possible once preparation has begun.
- Additional charges may apply for late changes.
7. Allergies & Dietary Requirements
- You must inform us of any allergies or dietary requirements at the time of booking or ordering.
- While we take reasonable precautions, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.
- We accept no liability for allergic reactions where information was not disclosed.
8. Event Site Responsibilities
You are responsible for ensuring:
- Safe and clear access to the site
- Suitable space for installation and catering equipment
- Necessary permissions from landowners or authorities
- No underground utilities where staking is required
Additional charges may apply if site conditions differ from those agreed.
9. Weather & Safety
- We reserve the right to delay, adjust, or cancel setup or catering if conditions pose a safety risk.
- Severe weather may require early dismantling or service modification without refund.
- All safety decisions made by our staff are final.
10. Damage, Loss & Equipment Care
- Responsibility for hired equipment passes to you once installed.
- Any damage, loss, or theft (excluding fair wear and tear) will be charged at repair or replacement cost.
- Equipment must not be moved or altered without our permission.
11. Food Safety & Hygiene
- We comply with UK food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Food must be consumed promptly and stored appropriately after collection or service.
- We are not responsible for food quality once it has been collected or served and left under your control.
12. Liability
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
- Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the relevant service.
- Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
13. Website Use
- Website content is provided for general information only.
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.
- You must not misuse the website or attempt unauthorised access.
14. Intellectual Property
All website content, images, branding, and materials remain the property of Indian Tent Events and may not be copied or reused without written permission.
15. Privacy
Personal data is handled in accordance with UK data protection law.

16. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for failure or delay caused by events beyond our control, including extreme weather, government restrictions, strikes, or acts of God.
