Booking & prices
How much does bell tent hire cost?
Our premium styled bell tents start from £300 for a 4m tent and £450 for a 5m tent, including delivery, setup and takedown within one hour of Bath. All tents come beautifully dressed in our signature boho Indian aesthetic with proper beds, quality mattresses, freshly laundered bedding and everything you need for a truly luxurious stay.
Our standard pricing is based on a 2 night stay. Additional nights are charged at £50 per tent per night. Group bookings get a discount. Just tell us what you need and we’ll do our best to make it work.
How do I book, and what deposit do you take?
Get in touch with your dates and location and we’ll get back to you within 24 hours. A 25% deposit secures your date, with the remaining balance due one month before your event. A damage deposit may also apply depending on your booking, and we’ll always discuss this with you at the time of enquiry.
Is there a discount for subscribing?
Yes. Subscribe to our mailing list and receive an exclusive 5% discount on your booking. Just sign up and quote your subscriber discount when you get in touch.
What areas do you cover?
Bath, Bristol and Somerset as standard, with delivery, setup and takedown included within one hour’s drive of Bath. We regularly travel across the South West including Wiltshire, Gloucestershire and Dorset. For events further afield, a logistics contribution covers travel and van hire, always discussed and confirmed before booking.
The tents
How many people fit in each tent?
Our 4m bell tents sleep up to 2 people and suit couples or solo guests. Our 5m bell tents sleep 4 to 5 people, ideal for families or small groups. For larger groups, bridal suites or dressing areas, our Emperor bell tent is a real showstopper.
What does “boho Indian styling” actually mean?
It means the real thing. Every tent is individually hand styled using genuine Indian textiles, rich rugs, floor cushions, pouffes, Indian bedspreads, lanterns, fairy lights and beautiful ornaments, all drawn from our own family heritage. This isn’t a themed kit from a catalogue; it’s a labour of love, and we think you’ll feel the difference the moment you step inside.
What are the beds and bedding like?
Proper beds with quality mattresses, never airbeds or camp beds. Every tent comes with duvets, pillows and freshly laundered bedding as standard. Let us know about any specific requirements, such as a firmer mattress or accessibility needs, and we’ll do our very best to accommodate you.
Can I hire a tent for just one night?
You can, but our pricing reflects the work involved in preparing, travelling, building and styling your tent, which is the same whether you stay one night or several. We’d always encourage you to make the most of it with a longer stay.
What happens if it rains or gets windy?
Our cotton canvas tents are made for British weather, cosy in rain and cool in sunshine. In genuinely extreme conditions we may need to delay setup or discuss an alternative date for safety. We’ll always contact you as early as possible to plan around any poor forecast.
How much space does a bell tent need?
Bell tents are circular, so the size refers to the diameter. Allow roughly 1.5m extra all around for guy ropes. A 5m tent needs a clear, reasonably flat area of about 8m across with no overhanging branches. Unsure if your site will work? Send us a photo and we’ll tell you straight away.
Weddings, retreats & corporate events
Do you do wedding glamping villages?
Absolutely, and we love them. From intimate gatherings to large wedding glamping villages, we deliver, build and style everything so you can relax and enjoy your day. We can also provide a stunning Emperor bell tent as a bridal suite or dressing area, bespoke priced from £550. Get in touch to discuss your requirements.
Do you cater for retreats and corporate events?
Yes. We work with retreat organisers, yoga and wellness events, and corporate clients to create beautiful, immersive glamping experiences, from a handful of tents to a full glamping village, tailored to your vision and budget.
Is Indian catering part of the package?
It’s optional, and it’s what makes us truly unique. Authentic home cooked Indian food is available through Nani Ma’s Kitchen, our family catering arm, from warming chai and breakfast for your glamping village to a full evening feast with starters, mains and desserts. This is real, beautiful, home cooked Indian cuisine, cooked with genuine care in the tradition of an Indian household. Ask us for a catering quote when you get in touch.
Can we have a firepit or BBQ?
Yes, outdoors and well away from the canvas. We ask for a minimum of 4 metres between any flame and the tents, and fires must never be left unattended. No smoking, candles or cooking inside the tents please. A firepit with logs and kindle is available to hire for £85.
Can I hire a bistro set?
Yes, a beautiful bistro set is available to hire at £40, perfect for a morning coffee or an evening drink outside your tent. Just let us know when you book and we’ll have it set up and ready for your arrival.
Accessibility & special requirements
If you have a disability or any health issues and need anything extra to make your stay more comfortable, please let us know and we’ll do our very best to accommodate you. We want every guest to have a wonderful experience and will always go the extra mile to make sure you feel looked after.
Cancellation policy
Your 25% booking deposit is non-refundable. Cancellations made more than one month before your event forfeit the deposit only. Cancellations within one month incur 50% of the total hire charge, and cancellations within two weeks incur the full hire charge, as your date will have been held against other bookings.
We’d always recommend taking out event insurance for peace of mind, and wherever possible, we’ll try to move your date rather than lose your event altogether.
