How did this happen?

Bath has a way of doing this, pulling strangers into orbit through circles of friends that quietly overlap until, one day, they don’t. That’s how we found each other. A mate of a mate, a gathering that could have been any gathering, and something clicked that neither of us could quite explain at the time. We’ve been chasing it ever since: across borders, through unfamiliar kitchens and stranger’s music, always drawn toward the places that felt like they were keeping a secret. The best nights were never the ones we planned. They were the ones that found us.

The parenting years

These days the biggest adventure of all is closer to home, two boys who somehow became teenagers when we weren’t looking, both taller than us now, and still, most days, willing to be seen with us in public. That’s no small miracle. Raising them taught us something we couldn’t have learned any other way: what it really means to make someone feel comfortable, looked after, like they belong somewhere the moment they walk in.

How the glamping began

Then came the moment that changed everything, in that quiet, unannounced way these things do. A friend with a gorgeous venue in Bath mentioned, almost in passing, that she needed someone to handle the glamping side. Renu didn’t have to think twice. Years spent drifting through festivals and retreats had taught Renu at least, exactly what makes a space feel like it’s holding its breath for you, and what makes a meal linger in memory long after the plates are cleared. So we said yes, and we never really looked back.

What we’ve created

But ours is a different kind of glamping. Set deep in the countryside around Bath, yes, but carrying something else entirely underneath it, a real Indian soul running through the warm colours, the proper textures, that particular kind of hospitality you only recognise once you’ve actually travelled there and felt it for yourself. The food is no different. Cooked properly, with real ingredients, nothing watered down for convenience, nothing added as an afterthought. It’s woven into the whole experience, not bolted onto the side of it.

Call it glamping with a vibe, if you like. Comfortable, a little beautiful, full of flavour. Built for people who want their getaway to actually mean something, rather than just somewhere to land for the night.
